Kelpp and Twitter |
We are testing out some (hopefully) cool new features for Twitter users. In order to try these out, you will need to log into your Twitter account. When you do this, we will automatically configure your account to follow Kelppme (and vice versa) which enables you to use the features.
Don't worry - we use OAuth to securely log you in to Twitter (we never see or store your password).
We know that people often ask their Twitter followers for recommendations - whether it's for restaurants, shops, or service providers. By adding a little bit of markup to your Tweets, you can not only ask your friends, but also tap into Kelpp - without ever having to leave your Twitter client.
An example will make it clear how this works. Suppose you tweet the following message:
hey folks where are good places for `cardamom tea` in the /Seattle, WA/ area? After sending this tweet, Kelpp will automatically reply with a tweet that looks like the following, which contains a link to the appropriate search results page.
@joeuser visit http://bit.ly/1gUnb to find recommendations from http://kelpp.com. #kelppPretty neat, huh? What makes this work is that little bit of markup you provide in your tweets.
And that's all you need to do. The next time you're looking for something, send a tweet and give Kelpp a try!
