Kelpp is a social search and recommendation service that enables friends to help each other answer the question "where can I find?" for anything - restaurants, businesses, services, cool places to visit, and more. Kelpp is 100% free to use.

We don't have any commercial interest in recommending (or disrecommending) any business. We don't edit or manage any reviews.

Kelpp is collaboratively built and managed by you and the Kelpp community. With your help, we can build a rich collection of recommendations on where to find anything imaginable! No matter what city, state or country you call home: precise and trustworthy recommendations is our objective.

In short, we don't make Kelpp useful. You do.

How do I use Kelpp?

Kelpp works with your existing Facebook account - you don't need to create new account or invite your friends in order to share recommendations. When you log into Kelpp for the first time, you will need to install the Kelpp Facebook app and that's it!

To start using Kelpp, just go to the home page and start searching for whatever you want to find. You can ask your friends for recommendations, which will automatically post a request to your Facebook profile, and we'll track their responses. You can also recommend places by tagging them with the appropriate keywords. We've strived to make the site easy to use, but we would love to hear your feedback, positive or negative.

Kelpp allows you to share and receive recommendations from your friends for very specific things.

We strongly believe that recommendations from the people you know are far more meaningful than those from anonymous strangers. We have made it easy to ask your friends for recommendations and identify places that have already been reviewed by people you know. Even if you don't find any recommendations for something you're looking for (very possible given the site is brand new), just ask your friends to help you!

We also believe that a recommendation service should allow you to review and find exactly what you want, rather than be limited to categories defined by someone else. So we allow you to search for and make recommendations using "tags" that identify the precise goods, services, or attributes you care about (for example: "family-friendly italian restaurant").
